Study Summary

This research is to evaluate the effectiveness of Talazoparib as a potential treatment for metastatic breast cancer with a BRCA 1 or BRCA 2 mutation.

Primary Outcome

Progression-Free Survival (PFS) is defined as the time from the first dose of study treatment to the date of disease progression as assessed by Response Evaluation Criteria in Solid Tumors (RECIST v1.1) or death due to any cause, whichever occurs first. Disease progression is defined as at least a 20% increase in the sum of diameters of target lesions, taking as reference the smallest sum on study (this includes the baseline sum if that is the smallest on study).
