Study Summary

The purpose of this study is to determine whether low level laser light therapy is effective in reducing circumference of the waist, hips and upper abdomen in obese individuals.

Primary Outcome

Individual measurements in inches of the waist, hips and upper abdomen were combined to calculate a total body circumference measurement. Change in combined circumference measurement from baseline to 4 weeks was calculated for each subject. Individual subject success was defined as a change of 3.0 inches or more in the combined circumference measurement across the evaluation period.
